The Burke & Hare Blood Pool is a reusable synthetic blood effect supplied as a double-sided A4 assortment of mini blood pools for easy placement, removal and storage. Therefore, it creates multiple convincing blood effects without the mess and clean-up normally associated with liquid stage blood.
Inspired by the notorious Burke and Hare murders, a series of sixteen murders committed over a period of about ten months in 1828 in Edinburgh, Scotland, this handcrafted prop captures the dark atmosphere of historical crime, Victorian fear and gothic storytelling.
Furthermore, because the design includes multiple mini blood pools on both sides of the A4 sheet, it provides production crews with a flexible option for staging different scenes, details and set layouts.
